» Metro North Swim Meets

Entries for the Metro North All Junior Eliminations close to Sharyn on the 7th of February. This event will be held on February 18 at MSAC and is for all 14 & under swimmers. Flyer | Entry Form
The Metro North 10/Under Encouragements will be held on February 25 with entries closing to Sharyn on February 15. Flyer | Entry Form
The Metro North 11/Senior Encouragements will be held on March 3 with entries closing to Sharyn on February 23.

» Training Resumes

Training has resumed as of Tuesday the 17th of January. Best of luck to everyone in preparation for the busy months of competitions ahead.

» Victorian Open & SWD Championships Results

Congratulations to our three swimmers who competed in the Victorian Open & SWD Championships on the 13-15 of January. Jessica swam in five events swimming close to her PB in each race as did Michelle in the three breaststroke races she competed in. A huge well done to Khang who swam a massive 14 second PB in the 50m backstroke and was also the youngest swimmer competing in his race.

» Victorian Age Championships Results

A magnificent effort to our six swimmers who competed at this years Victorian Age Championships held in December. This year we had Joanna and Justin both competing at their first Victorian Championships with both athletes doing extremely well. Justin managed to swim PB's in both his breaststroke events and was the 3rd fastest 10 year old in Victoria for the 100m breaststroke. Joanna made the final of the 100m butterfly finishing 9th after a blistering 5 second PB in the heats. She also competed in the 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle. Chloe managed to swim small PB's in her two butterfly events while Sophie also competed in the two breaststroke events. Jessica, who competed in a staggering eight events, qualified for the finals of the 100m breaststroke (9th), 50m freestyle (9th) and 400m IM (7th). Jessica also swam small PB's in the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke. And finally Brent swam a PB in each of his four races including a 3 second PB in his 100m butterfly and 100m backstroke events as well as breaking the 30 second barrier in the 50m freestyle. Congratulations to each swimmer for their outstanding performances.
